Vitamins For Eye Floaters

Four very important vitamins for eye floaters are vitamin C, E, A and D. These vitamins can help to prevent and cure eye floaters. Vitamin C has been shown to enhance the repair of cartilage, a protein found in the eye that is responsible for maintaining the proper shape of the vitreous humor. In addition, both vitamin C and E have anti-oxidant properties, and neutralize free radicals. Vitamin A is perhaps the most popular vitamin when it comes to eye health and good vision. It is essential for sight, and is crucial for optimal ocular health. A good intake of vitamin A has been shown to prevent many eye-related conditions. Vitamin D plays numerous roles in the body, including the prevention of degeneration of body tissues. It helps to keep the vitreous humor in optimal shape, and can help to prevent and treat eye floaters.
